The New AIST Organisation

The merger of AIST and CMSF is complete and official and while a lot has changed in terms of efficiencies and all the other good things that happen when two like-minded entities merge, the result will be a new and improved version of what we all know and love.

A primary focus on  training, professional development, education and other support services for members of the representative trustee "not for profit" sector of the superannuation industry.

In short, the conference will continue to get better each year, the training programmes will all be under one roof, the lunches, seminars and other events that provide education, information and a smattering of entertainment will all be there, better and brighter each year.

It has been part and parcel of the changes to the structure; it has recognised and sought to satisfy the aspirations and needs of the major fund trustees, directors and staff and, it has undoubtedly been an inspiration to the world at large as countries struggle to come to terms with their responsibilities.

Where we come from has a lot to do with who we are. And, to put who we are in context of where we are today, join Mavis Robertson (video), convener of the first CMSF steering committee in 1990 and of every conference from 1991 to 2002, as she reminds us of how we got to where we are now.
